Warranty conditions for selected appliances
The following conditions, which describe the requirements and scope of our warranty, do not limit the legal rights of end customers in the event of defects in our appliances. End customers may exercise these rights free of charge without prejudice to our warranty. In addition, we provide end customers with a warranty for our appliances under the following conditions:
1. In accordance with the conditions below (point 2-8), we will repair defects in the appliance free of charge if it is proven that they are the result of a material and/or processing defect, and if they are notified to us without undue delay after they are discovered within 24 months of delivery to the first to the user.
If the defect becomes apparent within 12 months of delivery, it is considered to be a defect in material or workmanship (exceptions are listed in Section 2). The 24-month warranty is provided only to the consumer and only to the product intended for normal household use. A 24-month guarantee is provided to a customer - entrepreneur (natural person) or other legal entity, provided that:
the purchase is not related to his business activity (e.g. laundry, accommodation services, restaurants, etc.)
the type of use is similar to household use and the product is not demonstrably overloaded (conditions apply cumulatively); in other cases, the entrepreneur or legal entity will be given a guarantee lasting 6 months. We reserve the right to limit the performance of the warranty to 6 months if it turns out that the appliance is not operated in accordance with the above conditions.
2. The warranty does not cover fragile parts such as glass or plastic, as well as light bulbs (see below), especially if the defect is caused by damage during transportation or handling (scratches, dents, cracks, broken glass and shelves, etc.); and/or if the defect or damage occurred on aesthetic or other components that do not ensure the functionality of the product, such as:
components such as handles, glass, control switches, etc. due to normal wear and tear;
change in color of plastic components (normal physico-chemical phenomenon after time of use)
consumables whose service life is determined by the nature of the component (bulbs, water filters, air filters, dust filters, carbon filters of all kinds, accumulators, batteries, etc.)
The replaceable batteries of the "Power for All" device are covered by our warranty of 24 months, although they are parts subject to normal wear and tear in the above sense. Decreasing capacity is a natural property of the battery. Minor deviations from the specified quality, which do not have a significant impact on the value and suitability of the appliance for use, do not constitute a warranty obligation. Damages and defects caused by the chemical and electrochemical effects of water and/or generally caused by unsuitable environmental conditions (humidity, dust, extreme hardness of water, etc.) do not constitute a claim for warranty repair, as well as damages caused by unsuitable operating conditions or if the appliance otherwise comes into contact with unsuitable substances. The warranty cannot be recognized even for defects in the appliance caused by damage during transport, for which we are not responsible, incorrect and unprofessional installation and assembly, incorrect handling, incorrect use (e.g. the appliance may be used in a different environment than at home, or if the appliance is not used in accordance with the instructions , instructions on the packaging or generally known rules for using the product, or if the appliance is connected to media with other parameters than those listed on the appliance's nameplate.
The warranty expires if repairs or intervention were carried out by persons not authorized by us or if other than original spare parts (accessories or accessories) were used for our appliances and if repair or intervention by an unauthorized person or the installation of other than original parts led to the claimed defect.
Normal maintenance or cleaning, installation, programming, checking of product parameters are excluded from warranty repairs.
3. The warranty will be fulfilled in such a way that, at our discretion, defective components will be repaired free of charge, or - if this is not disproportionate in view of the nature (i.e. the cause and manifestation) of the defect - the product or its defective part will be replaced with a defect-free one. If there is a repeated defect or a larger number of defects on the complained product, the end customer has, among other things, the right to withdraw from the purchase contract. Under other conditions established by law, a discount may be provided for the appliance or the end customer may withdraw from the purchase contract.
Replaced parts become our property. More detailed conditions for the application of claims for product defects are listed in the Complaints Regulations.
4. If we refuse a re-repair or if we consider it impracticable at our discretion, a replacement of the same value from the local product portfolio will be delivered free of charge within the above warranty period at the request of the end customer. The replaced appliance becomes our property
5. To exercise the rights arising from this warranty, the end customer must report defects to our customer service. The end customer therefore has the following contact options: by phone, by e-mail, via the online booking tool, chat. The end customer will find the relevant contact details on the website in the Service section and in the "Service contacts" brochure.
In addition, proof of purchase must be provided, which indicates the specific type of appliance requested, the date of delivery, or at least the date of purchase.
Appliances which can be reasonably transported (e.g. in a car) and which are claimed under warranty with reference to this warranty must be delivered or sent to our nearest customer service center or the store where the product was purchased, or to our authorized contracted service center. If the customer chooses a service other than the nearest authorized service center, he will be responsible for the increased costs associated with it. On-site repairs can only be requested for appliances in stationary (fixed) operation.
6. Warranty performance (repair, replacement or installation of a spare part) does not extend the warranty period or renew the warranty period. If the goods are exchanged, the warranty period starts again from the receipt of the new goods. The warranty period for installed spare parts ends with the warranty period for the entire appliance.
7. The end customer is not entitled to any other claims or complaints other than those mentioned above under this warranty.
8. These warranty conditions apply to appliances purchased and operated in Slovakia. If the appliance is shipped and operated in another EU / EFTA country ("destination country"), which meets the technical requirements (e.g. voltage, frequency, gas types, etc.) for the destination country and which is suitable for the relevant environmental conditions, the warranty conditions apply destination country if we have a customer service network in that country.
You can request them from the country representative in the destination country. If the appliance is sent to countries outside the EU / EFTA, the warranty expires.
