Warranty conditions for selected appliances
The terms outlined below define the conditions and coverage of our warranty and are designed to complement, not limit, the legal rights of end customers regarding product defects. Customers retain their statutory rights free of charge, unaffected by this warranty. Additionally, we provide the following warranty benefits for our appliances:
1. Warranty Coverage:
We will repair any defects in the appliance free of charge, provided these defects are proven to result from material or manufacturing faults. Notification of such defects must be made without undue delay and within 24 months of the product's delivery to the first user. If the defect is identified within 12 months of delivery, it is presumed to be due to material or manufacturing faults unless specified otherwise in Section 2.
The 24-month warranty applies exclusively to consumers and only for products intended for standard household use. For entrepreneurs (natural persons) or legal entities, a 24-month warranty is granted under the following conditions:
- The purchase is unrelated to their business activity (e.g., laundry services, accommodation, restaurants).
- The product use is comparable to normal household use, and the product is not excessively overburdened.
If these conditions are not met, a 6-month warranty applies. We reserve the right to limit the warranty coverage to 6 months if evidence suggests the appliance was not used under the prescribed conditions.
2. Exclusions from Warranty:
The warranty does not cover:
- Fragile components such as glass, plastic, or light bulbs, particularly if damage occurs during transportation or handling (e.g., scratches, dents, cracks, broken glass or shelves).
- Aesthetic or non-functional components, like handles, glass, or control switches, that are subject to normal wear and tear.
- Discoloration of plastic parts, as this is a natural physico-chemical phenomenon over time.
- Consumable parts with a limited lifespan due to their nature (e.g., water filters, air filters, dust filters, carbon filters, batteries, accumulators).
Replaceable batteries for the "Power for All" device are covered by a 24-month warranty, but their capacity naturally diminishes over time due to normal wear. Minor deviations in quality that do not significantly affect the product's value or functionality are not considered warranty issues.
Damages caused by chemical or electrochemical exposure to water, unsuitable environmental conditions (e.g., humidity, dust, extreme water hardness), improper operating conditions, or contact with unsuitable substances are excluded from the warranty.
Similarly, defects caused by improper transport (for which we are not responsible), unprofessional installation, misuse, or operation outside of the prescribed settings (e.g., use in non-domestic environments or contrary to the appliance's manual) are not covered. Connecting the appliance to media with specifications different from those listed on its nameplate also voids the warranty.
The warranty becomes void if unauthorized repairs, modifications, or installations using non-original spare parts are performed, and such actions result in defects.
Routine maintenance, cleaning, installation, programming, or parameter checks are not included in warranty coverage.
3. Warranty Fulfillment:
At our discretion, defective components will be repaired free of charge or replaced with defect-free parts if repair is deemed disproportionate given the nature of the defect. In cases of repeated defects or multiple faults within the product, the customer may withdraw from the purchase contract. Alternatively, a discount may be offered in line with legal provisions.
Replaced parts become our property. Detailed procedures for filing claims are outlined in our Complaints Regulations.
4. Replacement Policy:
If we deem re-repair impractical or refuse it, we will provide a free replacement of equivalent value from our local product portfolio within the warranty period upon the customer's request. The replaced appliance becomes our property.
5. Claim Process:
To claim warranty rights, customers must report defects to our customer service. Contact options include phone, email, online booking tools, or chat. Contact details can be found in the "Service" section of our website or the "Service Contacts" brochure.
Proof of purchase, indicating the appliance type, delivery date, or purchase date, must be provided. Appliances that can be reasonably transported (e.g., by car) should be delivered to the nearest service center, the store of purchase, or an authorized service partner. If the customer opts for a service center other than the nearest authorized one, they will bear the additional costs. On-site repairs are only available for stationary appliances.
6. Warranty Timeline:
Warranty services (repairs, replacements, or part installations) do not extend or renew the warranty period. For replaced goods, the warranty period restarts upon receipt of the new product. The warranty for installed spare parts ends with the original appliance's warranty period.
7. Limitations:
No additional claims or complaints beyond those specified in this warranty will be entertained.
8. Geographical Scope:
These warranty terms apply to appliances purchased and operated in Slovakia. If the appliance is used in another EU/EFTA country that meets the technical requirements (e.g., voltage, frequency) for that country and is suitable for its environmental conditions, the warranty terms of the destination country apply, provided we have a service network there. For appliances sent outside the EU/EFTA, the warranty is void.
9. Post-Warranty Support:
